Jon began his career as a Financial Advisor in 2012 by successfully opening and operating an Edward Jones office in Peoria, IL. He then joined a team at Morgan Stanley to build on his experience. In 2016, Jon became an independent advisor in order to deliver the best possible products and services to his clients. In 2021, he founded Heights Wealth Management. He graduated from Illinois State University with bachelor's degrees in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration. Jon currently holds his Series 7 and 66 registrations along with Life & Health Insurance license.
Jon is a native of East Peoria, and currently resides in Peoria Heights. He is married to his beautiful wife, Renee has a son, Will (born Jan 2021), daughter, Pearl (born Jan 2023) and his dog, Gus. He is very active in the community, being past Vice President of Peoria Crime Stoppers, past President of Peoria Grand Prairie Kiwanis Club, member of Young Professionals of Greater Peoria, The Salvation Army, Peoria Heights Chamber, along with other volunteer activities throughout each year.
In his free time, Jon enjoys staying active by exercising daily, playing a number of different sports, boating, traveling when he gets the opportunity, doing house projects, and just spending quality time with his family.
Rachel Hathway

Meet Rachel Hathway, our Office Administrator. She has five years of experience as an Office Receptionist/Administrator, including time in the investment industry.
As an East Peoria native, she graduated East Peoria Community High School in 2004 then went to Illinois Central College for a year and a half before making a big move to North Texas in 2006. She married her wonderful husband John in 2008 and spent the next 14 years as a stay-at-home mother to their three children, Christopher, Claire & Cara. After 16 years in the Dallas area, they now call Dunlap home with their dog, Rizzo and two cats, Pippa & Penelope.
Rachel enjoys being a volunteer at her kid’s schools and hanging out with friends. She loves crafting, planning events, and dabbling in photography. Most of all she enjoys family time which is what brought her back towards her hometown.
